Production and export of cassava products in the near future
In recent years , production capacity and cassava in Vietnam has seen significant progress . 2008 cassava growing area of the country has increased from 270,000 ha (in 2005 ) to 510,000 hectares , production is estimated at more than 8 million tons , up 2.3 % from last year but nearly doubled compared to 3 years before . Many cassava processing factories in the country were built .
